I know a lot of people have this dream, but mine is true and i need advice?

ok so i just got back from my second fake audition. by fake i mean they tell you ur good and they want u in ur scool and no guaruantee u will get anywhere...oh and it costs 3,000 dollars.


im fourteen and i rly cna sing and i know everyone says that but this is something i rly rly want and it would mean everything for you to just respond some advice, like an agent you know of or any auditions you know of, or any audition sites, or anything that can help!!! plz help me


i forgot to mention the biggest detail-


im jewish, and i refuse to do any thing on saturday (sabbath) will go against my religion (driving, and electronics...) now dont tell me i have to give up, or it wont work, because i will do anything to make this work plz give me ideas.

well most auditions and oppurtunities are in NY and CA. So i suggest that after u have gone through college or after u graduate high school u should move to a place with many oppurtunities.


If u want to do singing maybe u should try TN.

I don%26#039;t want to discourage you or anything, keep trying if you love it but the reality is that your trying to win a popularity contest and people have been trying the make it since babies. I couldn%26#039;t but maybe you can. Don%26#039;t aim so big, some of the most rewarding jobs are background of movies you loved. I heard once that a famous actresses father told her she could act only if she got a degree in something else first. You have to remember at all times that it is ALL about you and you are what they think. If they think you suck, you suck. Alot of times you just look like someone else who is in the movie and they don%26#039;t want that. If you look Russian do Russian movies. I was told once to work out, but I was broke and didn%26#039;t think working out was cool but they thought my face looked like i should be strong looking, that%26#039;s a compliment. You need to stop worrying about what your going to have on Saturday%26#039;s and more about the business, it is money and it is no joke. They make billions a year and are not fooling around. You need to get smart and show them your not fooling around either, could take years or never happen. But when you do get jobs it feels right on the inside, like you can just be you and it%26#039;s no big deal and when you want to show them something you just show it.





If you do make it big email me and have me cut your lawn or something so I can get some bucks too!!! :)

Build your resume.


Get a good solid headshot.


Constuct a coverletter to send to agencies.


Send your coverletter resume and headshot to legit agencies.


Keep training and sooner or later you will get a good agency that can help you get exposure as long as you keep supplying good talent.

Reply:Actors study acting for many, many years. Ask your parents to find acting classes in your city. As a singer ypu can%26#039;t determine if you sing well or not, only a professional can determine your singing ablity.





If your school has a drama departmetn join it, if not, ask your parents to call the Community Theater in your city and ask how you can join or volunteer.
